WSU Undergraduate Education SURCA 2020

Undergraduate Presenters: Message from the Director

SURCA student presenters,

Publicly sharing or disseminating the results of your mentored research, scholarship, and creative activity at the annual Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA) is an important aspect of being an undergraduate researcher.

Whether your work has just begun or you have completed your project with the guidance of a mentor, the university community is eager to see and hear about your results. A wide variety of student work is represented at SURCA, done by men and women from disciplines and majors and campuses across the institution.

Congratulations on being selected to participate in SURCA! This signifies that you are acknowledged as an important member of WSU’s diverse research community and that you are getting the most from your transformative educational experience. With your new contributions to your discipline through your research, you help us to be a truly world-class university.

Director of the WSU Office of Undergraduate Research
