SURCA presenters register for presentations in any of nine categories. Students will present to judges who evaluate presentations according to a rubric. Later at SURCA\, they will also present to the public and answer questions about their efforts from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in the CUB Senior Ballroom. \nStarting at 5 p.m. in the CUB Auditorium\, awards for top SURCA presentations will be given. The awards ceremony will be streamed on YouTube live. See you at SURCA!!

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to SURCA 2021!  Available in a virtual format this year\, SURCA is WSU’s only venue to showcase the research\, scholarship\, and creative activity of all undergraduates from all majors on all campuses. \n3:00-4:15 p.m.: Student Presentations.  Students will deliver their presentations to judges and the public during this time block. \n4:30-5:30 p.m.: Q&A with Students and Judges only. During this session\, judges will discuss presentations and ask specific questions of the students presenters assigned to them. The public may not attend this session. \n(Be sure to attend the SURCA 2021 Awards Ceremony on Tues.\, March 30!) \nSURCA\, part of WSU Showcase\, has featured the work of thousands of students since 2012; the annual tradition was broken only once–in 2020–when spring classes moved quickly online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many events and activities\, including SURCA\, were pended. \nIn 2021\, the WSU Office of Undergraduate Research is honored to once again present the research efforts of students at SURCA.
